Queries are instant views of your facility data applied against the floor plan drawing. A picture is worth a 1000 words when sharing complex data about personnel occupancy, space utilization and ownership. IntelliOffice has many queries which can be run individually or combined plus it automatically creates a Legend based on the data requested. Below are a series of examples:
Queries are available from the Drawing Explorer and from the View Drawing control in the Building List Form, both approaches are shown below:
Activate the Drawing Explorer from the Nav Bar, Select a Floor to View, then Click the Query Icon to see a list of possible Queries.
Click the Name Bar to execute the Query, Click again to turn it off, or select another to view Multiple Queries.
Select the Printer Icon on the Menu Bar to Print or Publish to PDF
From the Locations List, pick a Building, then a Floor and Click View in Full
The key to Queries is that the data details are not stored in the CAD file, they are called by the system from the most up to date information stored in the database. Each time you run a Query it is pulling from the most recent version of the CAD plan and the data feed from the HR system.
