Embedded Files
System Administrators have many Tools that allow for modification of Users Rights and Roles, Import Data, Create Subscriptions, Integrate other Applications and establish all System Preferences. Many of these settings are for advanced Users only and should not be changed without expertise, below is a brief overview of the functions that are available, contact your System Administrator prior to attempting to modify your system
Nav Bar Admin Menu
Each of these four items will be explored below, some are straightforward while others demand a in depth knowledge of database management best practices.
File Explorer
This tool allows access to the back-end files that support the system including storage Folders for Forms, CAD files, Report definitions, Templates etc.
Like a Windows Explorer you can Drag and Drop files into a Folder or select to Upload as well as Download.
Those familiar with XML will be able to Download and Edit certain system definitions from this Panel
Link Drawings
CAD Operators and Administrators will utilize this advanced Control to Upload and Link the Polylined CAD Drawings to the system database. The overall Floor plan will be Linked to the Building Record and then the individual Spaces and or Suites will be Linked to create the inventory of identified breakdown of the selected floor.

Subscriptions
This is a technical term for the automatic generation of email notifications, triggered by an event or calculation

Data Import
Often the most effective way to populate a database is using a Data Import routine.
However databases have strict rules to ensure that the data coming in is Validated and is imported into the correct Tables and Fields, this process is called Mapping and should only be performed by Users that a aware of best practices.

Advanced Administration Access
On the System Home Page at the top right of the Dashboard Title Bar will be Admin access for certain Users
- Settings - Click to expand Menu
- Administrator - Click to Open Form

- Metadata - View Database Structure
- Security - Add Users & Roles
- Preferences - Many Options
- Metrics - View User Activity
- Undelete - Retrieve Records

System Preferences
There are many options that can be modified by the System Administrator, most of these will have significant influence on the availability and functioning of the system back-end and should not be modified without a solid understanding of each item.
Contact your system support person if there are certain questions about configuration changes.
