CAD files often require significant modifications to allow accurate Linking to the IntelliOffice database. To assist with these drawing preparation steps there are advanced tools built into the Drawing Linking Engine.

Advanced Drawing Preparation Tools

1. Access Tools - Click on the Stacked Bar Icon Button, be sure to upload a CAD
2. Layer Prep - Rename Third Party Layer Names chose
3. Text Prep - Auto Position Space IDs
4. Other Prep - Draw Extents, Hide Hatches
5. Prep Drawing - this will create the modified DWG file for use in your CAD Editor
